Nine Days of Drawlloween

I made it through nine days!! I am really happy with this year’s prompts and progress.

Gulf Coast Maker Con: When we were Blossoms of the Heart…
It is so funny to watch this video!!! One day I will finish Hermes and Clove….the story line just has too many holes right now. I have to figure that out, but for now, I am super proud of my current story line and can’t wait to release the next one o. December!
Day 6 & 7
Day 5: Laboratory
For some reason this drawing reminds me of Attack on Titan 😂 maybe she is making a rejuvenation serum in the witch’s lab. This is pretty much how I felt on Friday. This week has been so busy!
Day 4: Mushrooms
Day 4 of #mabsdrawlloweenclub#mushroomsMushrooms have grown on me over the years! This #witch loves mushroom soup with frog legs! How else could she keep her green complexion!Ha! My kids asked me if I am putting these in my next book. Maybe?#comicartist #inktober #witch #art #halloween #cauldron #draweveryday #digitalart #drawlloweenEnjoy!
Inktober and Mabs Drawlloween Club
I am excited to announce that it is finally October and drawing challenges have begun! I don’t know what it is about October that makes artists all over the world so committed to draw every day. Maybe it is the permission to draw Halloween and Gothic pieces. I tend to lean that way through out the year, but this time of year is a great time to reflect on our year of growth as artists, I guess. I thought I would combine the two challenges….the lie detector determined that was a lie, but I am saving inktobers prompts for November and sticking to Mabs. I really want to include a witch or ghoul in every piece and work on my comic style, so here’s to avoiding “realism”! 🤓
